WISE-ARCH Student Seminar Series

The ANU Anthropology Seminar Series has returned for 2023! All seminars are presented on Mondays from 3:00-4:00pm and will be available both in-person and via Zoom, except for those marked **Zoom Only. Project Forums are held every Friday at midday via Zoom where students will presents projects that they have been working on throughout the year. Please contact the ABACUS Team if you would like to participate! The exact time of the forums will be released on our socials.
Biological Anthropology Research (BAR)
The BAR (Biological Anthropology Research) welcome researchers from ANU and outside ANU to discuss their current projects ranging from primatology to human evolution and everything in between. Held on Thursday afternoon at 4 pm in room 3.03, Sir Roland Wilson Building.
Centre for Archaeological Research (CAR)
The CAR (Centre for Archaeological Research) seminar series runs on Friday afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 5 pm in room 2.02, Sir Roland Wilson Building on campus. We welcome archaeologists from outside ANU who come and present their current research. This is an exciting opportunity to come and learn about a variety of projects around the world and meet fellow researches. Seminars are uploaded to the CAR YouTube Channel.
Canberra Archaeological Society (CAS)
The CAS seminars are held monthly and represent a range of topics that are mainly focused on the Canberra and Australasia/Pacific region. These seminars are done in partnership with the National Museum of Australia.
